About Us

Curbside Groceries is a mobile grocery store delivering quality produce, meat, shelf-stable items and more to communities without a traditional, brick-and-mortar supermarket.

The Capital Area Food Bank created Curbside Groceries after hearing clients’ calls for reliable access to fresh food for purchase near where people live and work. We’re our own social enterprise looking to bring you affordable options that you can easily reach on foot.

We first launched in DC’s Ward 8 in January 2020 and, despite service interruptions due to the pandemic, have since served over 2,000 customers. After more than a year on the road, we expanded to include Prince George’s County, Maryland.

Check our schedules to find when and where Curbside Groceries will be stopping in your community!
